The same research shows that 50 percent of them have regretted having the tattoo. The common reason, according to surveys, why they regret having a tattoo is because they fail to land a job. Most reputable companies require their employees to have “clean” skin.

True enough, most high-profile companies today only consider applicants who do not have odd and weird-looking body art and piercings. In the past, a tattoo was an art popular to gangsters and people who have deviant behaviors. As such, tattooed individuals are often perceived to be the bad persons. It is a prejudice that still holds true in today’s world, no matter how advanced our society has become.
